Pregnancy & Birth Control

“I think I might be pregnant, and I’m scared. I can’t have a kid now.” – 16-year-old

If you or someone you know thinks she is pregnant, it’s important to have a pregnancy test in a medical setting as soon as possible. Tests done with kits at home are not always accurate. The agencies listed below can help you to find the right program to help you make important decisions about your pregnancy, and to receive the services you need. Many of them offer at least some services (like pregnancy testing) for free.

If you are pregnant, you need to talk with someone you can trust and get medical attention right away. You may be able to receive Medi-Cal benefits in order to get proper care during your pregnancy.
