    We all feel anxious or worried from time to time. Some anxiety is actually good for us as it motivates us to get things done or keeps us out of dangerous situations. But, there are times when anxiety gets to be too much and it interferes with our daily functioning.

      Some of the physical symptoms of anxiety are:

    • Mind racing
    • Nausea/stomach pain
    • Not sleeping well
    • Heart beating too quickly
    • Headaches
    • Tight chest
    • Butterflies in stomach
    • Sweating

    Some of the feelings associated with anxiety are:

There are tools to cope with anxiety, from talking to someone to checking out some of these apps which teach you techniques like deep breathing, meditation, and mindfulness. Exercise can also reduce anxiety. If these tools aren’t working for you and/or you feel anxiety is taking over your life, please talk to a medical professional. Anxiety doesn’t have to consume your life.
