Aubrey Abuana, Teen Line Outreach Coordinator

Aubrey Abuana is conflict resolution practitioner with experience in trauma informed mediations, community organizing and policy advocacy for children and families. She received her bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Master of Arts in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peace-building from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Aubrey loves to spend mindful time in nature and enjoys sharing her wisdom by hosting backpacking trips for any adventurous soul.

Bree Jensen, Teen Line Outreach Presenter

Bree is a youth advocate, speaker, contributor, and mom of four (including a teen), who has spent the last 16 years helping families, schools, and communities across the country navigate the ups and downs of the teen years. She is the founder of LetsTalkTeens.com a resource to help navigate the modern world our kids are living in.  She also contributes to Family Circle magazine and is a speaker for anti-bullying non-profit, Rachel’s Challenge.

Bree provides outreach presentations to the communities of Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Culver City, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Playa del Rey, Santa Monica, and Venice.

 

 

Jessica Mariglio, Teen Line Outreach Presenter

Jessica is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and LPCC intern. She received her MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and holds a MSc in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. Originally hailing from a small town in Pennsylvania, Jessica’s interest in psychology developed at a young age due to her own experiences with anxiety and bullying. She is an experienced yoga teacher and meditation instructor and teaches mindfulness-based coping skills to trauma survivors as well as teens and adults struggling with addiction.

Jessica provides outreach presentations to Metro LA including the communities of Boyle Heights, Central City, Downtown LA, Echo Park, El Sereno, Hollywood, Mid-City Wilshire, Monterey Hills, Mount Washington, Silverlake, West Hollywood, and Westlake.

 

 

Reyna Avina Hernandez, Teen Line Outreach Presenter

Reyna joined the Los Angeles Community College District at East Los Angeles College as a Professor of Child Development in the Fall 2015. She was appointed the role of coordinator for Student Services Equity initiatives at East Los Angeles College, as well as programs that advocate for equitable access for all students.  She has utilized her skills to advance, support, educate, and advocate for many marginalized groups, including leading national projects for Girls Incorporated.

A proud Mexican-American, her community leadership includes membership in Service Planning Area 7’s Community Partnerships Network and the East Los Angeles College Alumni Association.

Reyna received her Masters Degree in Education – Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern California and her Bachelors of Science degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Studies from the University of La Verne.

Reyna provides outreach presentations in the San Fernando Valley including the communities of Burbank, Calabasas, Canoga Park, Canyon Country, Encino, Glendale, La Cañada-Flintridge, San Fernando, Sherman Oaks, Sun Valley, Van Nuys, Woodland Hills, and others.
