Gang Prevention
"After being shot by another gang member, I realize that I am putting my mother and younger brother in danger, and I need to get out." - 15 year old
Gangs can be hazardous to your health. LAPD reports an average of 500-700 gang-related murders every year. About half the victims of gang-related killings are innocent people, many of them children.
There are organizations that can help you get OUT, if you want out, or if you know someone who wants out. They’re listed below. Don’t put off calling.
