TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey,
Thanks for contacting TEEN LINE, it sounds like your in a difficult situation. Its really great that you wanted to be tested, and you are very brave for wanting to tell your mom. Talking to your parents about sex can be scary sometimes. If you feel comfortable, being open and telling her your concern about getting tested may be helpful. Also, have you considered a place like planned parenthood, where you could get tested without your mother? You can visit their website at www.plannedparenthood.org, or call them at 888-743-7526 to find one near you. If you need any further help feel free to call us from 6 to 10pm pst at 310-855-4673.

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hi,
Thanks for contacting TEEN LINE. You sound like you're feeling nervous. Knowing that you have to tell your mom the truth about something that is important to your health can be very scary. Have you talked to anyone else about it besides your doctor like maybe a trusted friend? Discussing this with someone that you can easily talk to before your mom can help give you an idea of what you want to say and how you want to say it. Maybe you could also try writing a letter to sort out all of your feelings and the things that you want to tell your mom? If you have any questions or just want to talk to try and figure something out you can always call us at TEEN LINE. Our number is (310) 855 4673 and we are open from 6-10pm Pacific Standard Time 7 days a week. You can also livechat with us on our website at teenlineonline.org.

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
How can i stop having group sex when its uncofortable for me?

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hello,
Well thank you for contacting TEEN LINE. It sounds like you are feeling very confused and questionable about having group sex. Sex can be very complicated for everyone. It is normal to experiment and question sexual relationships and sexual activities. I would like you to know that you do not have to do anything, and engaging in this sexual activity is not a requirement. Speaking to someone else about this may also help you. Have you thought about speaking to a friend or trusted adult? I am also worried about your health and encourage you to keep in mind the possibility of pregnancy and STDs. You can call Planned Parenthood at (800) 230-7526. They are not only a pregnancy hotline but they also can help educate you on STDs and other sex questions you may have. You can also call us at (310) 855-4673. We are open every night from 6 to 10pm pacific time. I really would like you to know that it is very normal to experiment but you should never feel pressured to engage in these sex groups.
