TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey, thanks so much for contacting us here at TEEN LINE. You sound very upset and overwhelmed. Have you taken a pregnancy test? If you don't have a doctor, there's a place you can go to called Planned Parenthood that have free pregnancy testing and who can discuss with you whats going on with your body in more depth. It's a really scary situation to be in, especially not knowing for sure if the guy who got you pregnant is there for you. Have you talked to anyone else about what's going on with you? How about talking to a trusted adult or a school counselor? They may even have ideas on how you can find work and an apartment. We would really like to talk to you more to see if we can come up with some options. Give us a call at 310-855-4673 between 6-10pm PST. We hope to hear from you.

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
I have been on Sronyx (generic for Levlite-28) birth control for over a year now. On Saturday night, I took my last pill (which is a placebo) for the monthly pack. On Sunday, I had unprotected sex and my partner came inside of me. I did not know my prescription ended and I have not been able to start a new pack of pills. Today is Thursday and I will take my first active pill of the pack tonight. This means I have not taken any pills for 4 days. However, for the 3 weeks of active pills preceding this incident, I have taken my active pills correctly. Was I still protected on Sunday? What are my chances of pregnancy? Should I take a pregnancy test? How much do abortions cost usually?

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey! Thanks for contacting TEEN LINE. It sounds like your nervous of being pregnant. The best way to check if you are pregnant is taking a pregnancy test, or go see a doctor so they can test you and tell you your options if you are pregnant. I would encourage you to see the doctor who prescribed you the pills to find out if you were still protected by them. You can also call Planned Parenthood at 888-743-7526, they can tell you what you need to know about plans for abortions and how much they cost. Planned Parenthood can also assist with other questions about protection.

I hope you can get the information you need and good luck with everything. Feel free to call TEEN LINE at 1-310-855-4673, the line is open from 6 to 10 PST.

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
Im 16 and i just found out my girlfriend is pregnant. In the same week i find out that shes 2 years older than i thought she was and is still in a relationship with b_______. If b______ (whos 19 btw) finds out i got his girl pregnant hes gonna get me. I dont want to leave her to look after the baby herself though. Im scared to tell my parents because i cant bare the look of disappointment on their faces. I really messed up and need help!!!

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey, thanks for contacting TEEN LINE.
It's understandable why you're feeling worried about what's going to happen. Have you spoken to your girlfriend about how you're feeling and that what she did (lying to you about her age, and about her other boyfriend) has effected you. Is there anybody you can talk to ? Maybe siblings or a best friend? Or if you have a school counselor he/she might be able to tell you about a planned parenthood that you can go to. I know that it's scary but it might help telling your parents about what's happened because then they can help you plan what to do. If you need to talk to somebody you can call TEEN LINE at 310-855-4673 or chat online with us. We're open from 6PM to 10PM PST.

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
Well, my problem is both about pregnancy and relationships. I got my girlfriend pregnant. She got pregnant about a month and a half while we were dating. We didn't find out about it until two weeks after she got pregnant. I offered to marry her, drop out of the Air Force for her. She said she would marry me, but three weeks past and she dumped me. We started dating in October and she broke up with me in December. She was the one who told me she loved me first and after five months of not seeing her, because she really didn't to see me until now, I want her back. What do I do to convince her? Help, because i lost my girlfriend, my job, and now Air Force. They kicked me out because a single father can't join the Air Force. She's been trying to keep me out of my son's life every step of the way. She's only 22 weeks now. But still.

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey,
Thanks for contacting TEEN LINE. Wow, it sounds like you are going through a tough situation now. It must be hard to not be a part of your sons life. Have you tried showing your girlfriend how much you want to be a part of your child's and her life? You could try letting her know what you would do as a father or bring her to parenting classes. Also, have you talked to your parents about all of this? They might be able to help if they know what's going on. If you want to talk more, give us a call at 310-855-4673 we're open every night from 6-10 pst.

thanks,
