Hey thanks for emailing us!! Its understandable to be feeling scared about this situation. Having sex, and deciding to have a baby are big decisions, and ones that shouldn't be taken lightly. If you dont feel ready to take these steps, perhaps talking to your girlfriend about this, could help you better decide what you both are ready for. TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
How do you cope with the pain of an abortion?

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey, thanks for contacting TEEN LINE. I'm wondering what kind of "pain" you are talking about; and if its because you have experienced it. If it is physical pain then I encourage you to call planned parenthood at 800-230-7526. If it is emotional pain, abortion could be an overwhelming experience for a person, and to cope with it, someone would probably want someone to talk to like a therapist, or a trusted family member or friend. Maybe finding support systems would help that situation as well. It seems like it would help to talk about, so I encourage you to call TEEN LINE at 800-852-8336. The line is open from 6 to 10 PST.

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey, I'm really glad you contacted TEEN LINE. I wonder whether you've taken any birth control tests...or have gone to a doctor to check whether or not you are really pregnant. I could imagine that it might be scary, and not knowing must feel really nerve wracking. Here is a number for a Planned Parenthood in Texas (I don't know specifically where you are in Texas, so this may not be near you, but you can call them, and I'm sure they'll be able to tell you where the nearest one to you is.) (972) 991 1424. Also, if you would like to call us at TEEN LINE, our number is 310 855 4673. We are ope

TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
I got a 25 year old pregnant and she is blaming it on me, I understand it's haft of my fault but she blames the Whole thing on me. I don't know how I feel about this. I don't know how her husband would feel either... When this happened he was away, they also have two other kids, so I'm in a huge mess. I would like to know what you think. I think she will be getting an abortion since I'm only 14.

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey, thank you for E-mailing TEEN LINE. Wow that's a really big age difference. You must have a lot going through your mind. I imagine that you're feeling really overwhelmed with everything that's happening. You probably feel really confused. Have you confided in anyone about this? If not is there a trusted adult or counselor at school that could help you clarify what you're going through? I just want to let you know that it is not your fault and that this can be considered child abuse. To report this and get support you could call the National Child Abuse hotline at 800-422-4453. If you ever want to talk to anybody at TEEN LINE feel free to call us at (310) 855-4673. We're open from 6pm to 10pm PST every night. Thank you :)
