TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
My best friend just got put on prozac for clinical depression. She's been kind of sad since the beginning of summer, but really depressed, like crying or sleeping depressed has only been for about a week now. I know prozac isn't good for teenagers. Shes 17 also. Her mum took her to a medical doctor, she never took her to a psychologist first. I want to get her to stop taking prozac and look at other routes to help her out of her depression. What can I do?

It sounds like you care for her so much, and want to help her out of her depression. For starters, I'm not a doctor so I can't really give you advice about medications.
