TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
Hello. I turn 18 in a few days and im graduating in a few days. Ive always been a good girl and ive has pride in myself for staying pure for all these years. Before about a week ago i had only kissed 3 guys. Well last week i hung out with this guy and we made out. Then somehow we were both naked and just makin out. And then he said lets have sex and i kept telling him No. Well he didnt listen. So now im completly disguisted with myself. Anywayz i cant tell anyone about this including my parents. It would kill them. And well we didnt really have sex all the way. It was only halfway and he used a condom. I cant really say details cause it happened so fast. He said all i would say was no. And he should have listened to me. Idk what to do. My emotions are so confused because of this event. And the person i have told says i have a chance of being pregnant. And i wanna know what are my chances. Are they very low ? I mean when we were makin out he had no condom on until before he did what he did. Im so confused.

TEEN LINE WROTE:
Hey Thanks for reaching out to us at TEEN LINE. It sounds like you are feeling powerless and confused. Your right that guy should have listened to you and you did not do anything wrong. If he continued when you said no it is not ok, and is considered rape. Because of this you do have the ability to report him to the police if you feel comfortable. There is no way of knowing if you are pregnant or not without checking. Your friend sounds really wise, you could get checked by a doctor because after having sex whether it is protected or not there is still a chance of getting pregnant or getting an STD. The protection does reduce the risk; however, you never know. To get more information you can also call Planned Parenthood at 800-230-7586 or you can go to www.plannedparenthood.org . You sound really strong for dealing with this and telling others about it. I wonder have you told others besides your friend about this? Maybe you can talk to a family member, a teacher, or a school counselor. We would also love to talk to you about what is going on because it sounds intense. Our number is 310-855-4673 and we are open from 6-10pm PST.
