John Finton has become known as the global “go-to-guy” for sourcing the planet’s most unusual and rare materials for the homes he builds. He is often called-on by architects to bring his American building ingenuity and unique abilities to projects outside the domestic United States. Finton’s extensive knowledge of the industry has him in demand both domestically, and internationally, with developments in France, the UK, China, Mexico and Russia. This love of building and global sourcing has inspired his forthcoming book, Building Up A Storm, scheduled for late 2012.
