TEEN QUESTION/PROBLEM:
So I had a really close friend on my team. I knew eveything about him and he knew me alot too. We were best friends it was like when we talked we would block everyone else out like they didnt matter. So I got really sick and couldnt pactice for a few months and I never noticed how much I loved him. When some1 asked who do you miss he would be 1st on the list.But now we're awkward around each other,he's changed at least around me, he's not as friendly and caring for me and i really miss it. And to top it off there's about 6 other girls that LOVE him, yeah its so annoying cause they throw themselves at him. and he likes it. I don't know what to do, he's the last thing i think of b4 i go 2 sleep and the 1st thing i think of when i wake. My heart is killing me and im really depressed im afraid we've outgrown each other. I don't want to be alone anymore..

It seems very hard to like this close friend and not to know if he likes you. i can also understand the position that he is in and how he likes the attention from the other girls. have you thought of talking to him and letting him know how you feel? is there anyone in your life that you can take your feelings to? For example a family member, a close friend or someone that you can trust. do you think that it might help you to focus on a sport other friends or school work or a talent that you have. what i am concerned about is that you said that this seems to be the only thing you think about. it also concerns me that you say that you are really depressed and that you are very lonely. i don't know how depressed you are but if you are sad most of the day,it would be helpful to consider talking to a responsible adult a teacher or a school counselor. it sounds like you are in a lot of pain.
