i havent been eating recently and avoiding food purposely to "punish" myself but i wonder... does this count as a eating disorder? i know it isnt as extreme as some experiences i've heard but i wanna knowif it's anything to be concerned about. if anyone can give me feedback that'd be great, thanks.

I have troubles with this issue too, struggling with feelings of worthlessness and depriving myself, and then after it goes on for a while I lose control and binge on massive amounts of food, to the point where I feel incredibly ill but just cant stop the eating. Which of course only leads to greater feelings of self-loathing, a bad cycle. =(

To your question--if your eating habits concern you enough to seek advice about them, they are probably disordered.

I have a friend that is border line ana. She does not technically have a eating disorder because of the qualifications to be ana. She does have one though. It ain't fun watching her do it. I sort of have one but i drifted away from it but i am coming back to it. If you need to talk pm me
