i'm a born-again christan, but i'm haveing trubles u see i'm a female and i'm bi but the church/my faith dosnt allow it, i beat myself up due to this cause my youth pastor says ″if u chose faith ur alive in/with god,but chose being bi i'm choseing death please i'm scared on what to do please help me

Hey, im catholic. Im not sure how different that is from your faith, but im a practicing catholic and im a lesbian. I go to mass every Sunday and I have a girlfriend. Shes catholic too. I have talked to many a priest and religion teacher who are perfectly alright with gay people. I have also talked to many a priest and religion teacher who dislike gays with all their heart and soul. (im not sure how the “loving everyone” fits into their agenda, but that’s just me). what the catholic church has issues with is the sex before marriage bit, not that people are gay. Though some pastors take that to the extreme. Not sure your church’s views but my opinion is that God loves everyone, he doesn’t pick and choose. if your still uncomfortable, do more research and maybe talk to someone else. Do what you believe is right (sorry for the long winded speech thingydoo)

GOD CREATED US I am bi and i go to church. No one knows but i still know that if god made everyone different and he made some people straight and some people gay and even bi. He loves everyone.

Dear hurting-one,

I myself am I brought up since I came to what I now call my family a Roman Catholic/Christian.Although I don't practice this faith/religion nor do I believe it. I never understood as to why this church/faith doesn't accept it. I'm sure in years to come things will change, as it always does in Christian faith and religion. Do not let your faith and religion change who you are.

You can have both! No need to tell the pastor/whoever about your decision. You won't have death for being who you are. God made all of us and he doesn't make mistakes. We're all God's children and if he wanted you to be bi, then he wanted you to be bi. Seems like the only one who thinks God screwed up is your pastor. Which I think is
