Hi LiveLaughLoveMe,
It sounds like you're feeling under a lot of pressure and pretty down.I'm sorry that you boyfriend cheated on you, and is currently being abusive towards you. Verbal abuse can really damage a relationship. It could be helpful to visit
www.coda.org. They have great information on how to have healthy relationships with others--this relationship seems to be putting a lot of stress on you. Many teens are also in your situation, so you don't have to feel like you're alone in this. Also, you said you were taking pills--what kind were they? Any type of pill could be harmful towards the body depending on what kind they are, how much you take, and how often you take them. Your usage really concerns me because it can definitely have some type of affect on your overall health, now and possibly into the future. The pills provide temporary relief, they are not a permanent solution. I'm just wondering if you have ever spoken to a close friend or trusted adult about your depression or how you are using pills to control your feelings and avoid facing the bigger problems? If you are ever feeling like you need to take more pills, I urge you to call us here at TEEN LINE at 310-855-4673, and we're open from 6-10 p.m PST, or speak with a school counselor or your family doctor. One more resource I would like to give you is the National Drug and Alcohol Abuse Helpline at (877) 437-8422/ Best Wishes,
A TEEN LINE teen
