Floating

Have you thought of suicide or do you know someone who has....

Floating

Postby BelleFilm » Sat Apr 28, 2012 12:26 am

I feel totally insane but maybe somebody else out there knows what im talking about...

whenever I get scared or worried I start to have a panic attack, often ending up with me curled up on the floor crying and forgetting to breathe followed by my fiance hugging me tight and rocking me to sleep while he sings.

but it also often includes something I call floating or feeling floaty...
its like i see everything around me but its not really there, i feel like im not touching the ground anymore and cant come back down, i get scared and sweaty and panicked, i feel dizzy and light headed and out of my body and the only way i can get back is to sleep it off or have somebody ask me tons of questions about fun random things or me tell them a story to force me to focus on something real.

am i just totally nuts or does anybody else get this??
I hate when it happens and hate when i feel it coming on but have no idea how to stop it.

love

Hey!
I'm not sure I know exactly what you mean, but I do know that specific drugs can make you feels this way as a long term effect. Marijuana, acid, ex, almost all drugs that can give you an "out of body" experience. Another answer to the "floating" you are feeling, may just be an after shock type feeling of your panic attacks. You may possibly need anxiety medication. Or, after your wedding your anxiety may fade away because the wedding coming soon may be the cause. Try to think about what is bothering you in order to find the solution of how to get rid of your "floating" type feeling.
Good luck!
