Is he pushing it? or am I a prude?

Postby panda001 » Mon Apr 16, 2012 10:10 am

SO the title kinda says it all. This guy at work likes me and I don't know what to do. I am 17 and he is 22. He really likes me and is always asking me out on dates and stuff. I told him I do not feel the same way and even if I did the age difference bothers me. I don't care if I sound like a prude but I mean we are both at different points in our lifes. Anyways, he backed off for a awhile but I said Hi to him the other day because he looked sad and I felt bad and now he like "bumps" into me and rubs up against me at work and stuff and follows me. He texts me and says he wont stop till I feel the same and he told me he was gonna kiss me. I know it doesn't sound like much or that bad but the fact I don't like him and he is older bothers me. I don't know what to do. I told one friend from work and they wanted me to tell my boss or my mom. I said no. Am I wrong? Am I over reacting and being a prude? Just let me know. Thank you!

wow...super weird reading this...because..I Am 17 and there is a guy at my work that is 22 and likes me as well, so i relate...! First and foremost I want to say, if you have made yourself clear and have told him that you do not feel the same way nor will you ever and have told him how uncomfortable the age difference makes you, and he still continues to harrass you then something more needs to be done, (talking to a parent, or manager even) next...just to be sure..I would be careful with things as small as saying hello, im not saying be a total jerk but just dont give him any extra attention! I know it may seem hard not to talk to him being that yall work in the same place but try, these things and see how they work! Also, block his number, if you truly have no feelings this wont be hard! Take small but drastic measures to make sure this does not continue especially if you feel uncomfortable..I hope this helped let me know if you need anything else:)
