if 5/n - 1/2= 3/6n what is the value of n? and how can i explain it. i've tried everything.. oh and the answer is either -2, 2, 9, 2/7

this is super late but I just wanted to tell you haha.

-1/2 = 3/6n - 5/n
-1/2 = 3/6n - 30/6n
-1/2 = -27/6n
-6n = -54
-54/-9 = 6 so n = 9
