how bad is it to say,

Postby KatCD » Sat Oct 25, 2008 12:40 pm

i love my eating disorder?!
the hate i have for food makes me control what i eat; and if i can help it what others eat.
when im hungry im like on top of the world that feeling makes me happy its so amazing, its like beautiful.
and to say i can fit in a size 0 or even 00.
or a little kids 10.
i kno its horrible, and i kno i need help.
but i dont want it, i wanna stay like this until i dont have my selfcontrol anymore.

[[anyone else feel like this]]
It's times like these
when i wish i would just wake up in the emergency room
& hear the words
"Shes not going to make it"...

i can definetley relate, i don't have an eating disorder but i cut, i love my cutting and thats who i am, i think you love it because thats your perception of your identity, it's been so much a part of you that you can't imagine your self without it, but that doens't mean its not a problem, eating disorders can still hurt you and you just like me need to try to move on from the things that are keeping us back

It sounds like you are feeling sad and scared over feeling happy with being hungry. We can’t help how we feel sometimes so you aren’t alone. Also, it seems like you are aware of the effects of an eating disorder and that’s good; awareness is a first step. Though you said that you don’t want help, I want to encourage you to find out more about the eating disorder since its not healthy.

I’m concerned about you and your health since losing a lot of weight is harmful to one’s health. Its normal to feel like you aren’t in control in some things in life, many teens go through it as well so you aren’t alone. There are healthy ways though to be in control. Do you have any favorite activities like sports, or any hobbies? Talking to others about how you feel may also be a good way to have a sense of control since you have their attention. A trusted adult, friend or even couselor may be a support system in your life. If you need anyone else to listen don’t be shy to contact TEEN LINE. They are a great resource and there are many ways of contacting them; via e-mail, message board, live chat, and by phone: 1-800-TLC TEEN.

i don't have an eating disorder, but i was in love with my si. once i got rid of it, i found something to love that filled that spot, but i know exactly how you feel.

[i still draw on myself to make it seem to me that i had cut]
Life is too short
So love the one you've got
Because you might get run over
Or you might get shot
