Sweet potatoes are naturally sweet and contain complex starches, as well as healthy vitamins, minerals and some proteins too. In addition, sweet potatoes are very easy to digest. They also provide a lot of energy...I actually would prefer them over white potatoes! Sweet potatoes can be eaten without butter and taste fantastic, where I think white potatoes are a bit dry...
